Weeping Angel Enemy

Reference Game: Resident Evil Village (Shadows of Rose DLC)

One popular enemy in horror games is the weeping angel. If the player is not facing the enemy (and they are not being rendered), then the enemy chases the player. The player must be within the confines of the nav mesh, and in my case, the AI also needed to first perceive the player.

Player POV Change

Reference Game: Fallout New Vegas

While playing Fallout New Vegas, I noticed that there was the option to change the player's perspective with the mouse scroll wheel. I decided to recreate it in Unreal. The camera will either zoom in or out depending on which direction the player is scrolling their mouse wheel. If the camera gets close to the player, then they are put into a first person perspective.

Typing Game

Reference Game: N/A

Growing up, I used to play a lot of typing games. I wanted to prototype the mechanics for one, but I also wanted to make it somehow unique. I ended up using a visual novel base with typing. It would be fun to fully turn this into a game, but it is currently just a prototype. The player types responses to the NPCs, which results in branching conversations. Everything is ghost themed, because the idea was to have a story revolving around a ghost detective.
